Learn to Fish - 204102

If you have always wanted to give fishing a try, or just want to refresh the experience, this is the program for you! After a brief introduction to the basics of fishing equipment and handling of live fish, enjoy time at the pond, “reeling them in”. Equipment and bait provided. Participants should be able to comfortably hold the weight of a cane pole/rod and reel (plus a fish of course)! An adult chaperone must accompany any child under the age of 12 years. We practice “Catch and Release”. Fishing license is not required for those under 16 years. One - 2 hour session.

Culinary Artists of Leawood - Culinary Artists of Leawood

Join us for Culinary Artists of Leawood Cooking Class. We will be learning kitchen, knife and cooking skills in this fun class. Along with Baking of course! We will be baking Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwiches, Citrus Cookies and Vegan Kitchen Sink Cookies. We will also make our own Sugar Cookie Icing, Each Child will get to try the cookies at the end of class. Aprons Provided. Please have long hair pulled back and each student should bring a water bottle. Please let us know of food allergies. Vegan Options can be arranged for all recipes. No nuts are ever used in our cooking classes. We are not a "gluten free certified class" meaning that cross contamination of gluten can happen.
